Donut Holes

One of the greatest joys in life are unexpected calls.
I think as I have gotten older (which is absurd since I am only 21), I have grown to cherish the sound of people’s voices and started to despise texting. I always send a message with at least one word not making sense and my grammar falling apart.
I love to hear the rise and fall of someone’s voice, eagerly awaiting the next word, and bursting into laughter as we joke about some absurdity.
Today, a friend called as they are traveling back to Chapel Hill and there was no objective to the call other than to hear each others voices. They were buying donut holes and I was watching a youtube video on eating 400 chicken nuggets, but we were both focused on each other.
I guess I just simply love being with friends and family and with moving to Philadelphia soon and being away from everyone, phone calls are one of the best ways to connect with my loved ones.
So, whoever you are, whether I know you super well, or if we are just awkward LinkedIn/instagram acquaintances, call your friends and family, I promise it will be worth it.
Also buy donut holes-apple fritter flavor, I highly recommend.
As Always,
He Climbs Mountains
