Ben Lasley is a Global Mission Fellow with the UMC, serving for two years as a community organizer in Philadelphia, PA. Ben organizes a weekly meal serve for housing and food insecure individuals in center city, leads a community garden, and fights for climate and environmental justice. He is passionate about the intersection of people, the environment, and societally based power structures. In his free time, Ben loves to experience God's creation, cook hearty, vegetarian food, and can't help but stan Elizabeth warren.
